Pentecost Sunday
A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who devoutly assist either at the recitation or solemn singing of the Veni Creator, either on the first day of the year to implore divine assistance for the course of the whole year, or on the solemnity of Pentecost. (Manual of Indulgences, 26, 1, 1)
Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Sister Bede, who passed away on the 20th of May. She received Extreme Unction before she died.
Sister Bede (RSJ) was one of the original teachers at Holy Family Education, alongside Sr Maur Woodbury (SM). Please pray for the repose of her soul.
Sung Vespers will take place after the 4pm Mass (around 5.15pm) on Trinity Sunday, 30th May.
