Please pray for the repose of the soul of Mr John Popplewell, father of Fr Popplewell, who passed away recently. Please pray for Fr Barry Swift who passed away a few days ago. He used to assist at Confessions and singing of the Passion.
We have plans for Confirmations this year either in April or May. Children above the age of ten and belong to the parish may request Confirmation. Please take a form from the Church and send it back to us.
2nd February Feast of the Purification of Our Lady
You can bring candles for blessing. Ideally they should have some percentage of beeswax.
Please put your name on them.
Men’s group will not meet on the 2nd of Feb due to the Feastday, but will meet on the 9th of Feb instead.
Fr Wong will be away on retreat from 25 Jan – 30 Jan. On the way back he will assist at the funeral of Fr Popplewell’s father in Canberra.
