Wednesday Adult Education resumes this week.
No flowers during the period of Lent except on 1st class Feast days and Laetare Sunday.
Visit of the major relics of St.Therese, St.Louis and St.Zelie to MHM 12th March 3pm – 13th March 7am. The relics will stay overnight. We need volunteers who would keep prayerful vigil over the holy relics.
Piety stall will be open on the 15th of March.
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday after the 1st week of Lent are the traditional Ember Days.
“On Ember Days the Church is accustomed to entreat the Lord for the various needs of humanity, especially for the fruits of the earth and for human labour, and to give thanks to Him publicly.(45)” (Universal Norms on the Liturgical Year and the Calendar)
There will be Stations of the Cross after every Friday Mass with the exception of First Fridays when there is Eucharistic Adoration and the devotion to the Most Sacred Heart instead.
