Masses will recommence in the Maternal Heart of Mary Church with a Solemn Votive Mass of St. Joseph this Thursday 28th February at 7pm. Thank you to all the generous souls who came to clean and tidy up the Church in preparation for our return home.

Next Sunday March 3rd
The Official Re-opening of the Church will be next Sunday March 3rd. This is coinciding with the visit of the traditional Carmelite nuns en-route to found a new monastery in the Wilcannia-Forbes diocese, as well as Fr.Komorowski, Superior General of the FSSP.

We will have a BBQ, stalls and festivities to celebrate this joyous occasion.

As there will be extra priests at MHM next Sunday, there will be an extra Low Mass at 7.30am. Those who want an early start or want to avoid the crowds are most welcome to attend the earlier Masses.

For your greater convenience:

7.30am: Low Mass – Fr.Duncan Wong
8.30am: Low Mass – Very Rev.Monsignor Timothy Thorburn (Vicar for Religious Life in Lincoln NE and chaplain to the Carmelite Nuns at Valparaiso, NE)
10.30am: Solemn Mass – Very Rev Andrzej Komorowski FSSP (Superior General)

We welcome all visitors to the Church. Please be advised that Communion is only given on the tongue in this Rite of Mass. We should try to maintain a spirit of reverence in the Church by avoiding unnecessary noise and talking. Mobile phones should be switched off as we are in a house of worship. As we are on sacred ground, we should be dressed appropriately out of respect for God.
