40 Days for Life
There will be 960 hours of adoration during Lent at the abortion clinic in Surry Hills. You must register online for the adoration at Register
Bishop Porteous is leading the procession from St Maroun's next Saturday, February 20.
FLI Day of the Unborn
This is in the middle of the 40 days for Life this year - Sunday March 21 12pm.
After the 10.30am Mass at the Cathedral, Bishop Brady will lead the street procession finishing at the Cathedral for 1.30pm Benediction.

Six months notice and parriage preparation is rquired for couples who wish to get married at Maternal Heart.

TOILETS
Please LOCK the toilets at night. Take care with children and ladies in the area. Make sure you lock the toilet door and return the key.

PARKING
NO PARKING in front of the bins or dumpsters or wooden gate. No exceptions.
NO PARKING in the Evenings before 6.30pm in the THREE RESERVED car spaces for President, Vice-President or CEO. At other times please leave spaces free for the handicapped.

Petersham Park - across road from the church.
Bring a lunch, any sporting equipment.
Only ONE BBQ is available. Playground for children.
This Picnic is an informal way of celebrating Fr Gresser's TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION.

PENANCE DURING LENT
Canon 1250
- each Friday of the whole year and the season of Lent are penitential days.
Canon 1251
- Abstinence from meat is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
- Abstinence from meat or other food is to be observed on Fridays throughout the year, unless otherwise prescribed by the local bishops' conference.
- All persons aged 15 and above are bound by the laws of abstinence. All persons aged 15 to 59 are bound by the laws of fast.
NOTE: It is a grave matter not to do penance on Fridays or the days of Lent.
